Privacy policy
This policy describes how we process the personal data of guests and of people using the villanosal.pl website, as well as the rules for using cookies.
Data controller
The controller of personal data is Jota Invest s.c., with its registered office in Zielona Góra, ul. Chynowska 9, 65-138 Zielona Góra, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 9291011288 (the operator of the Villa Nosal property in Zakopane).

Purposes and legal bases of processing
We process personal data:
- in order to arrange your stay at Villa Nosal, as this is necessary to perform the contract to which the guest is a party (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- in order to meet public-law obligations, arising primarily from tax regulations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR);
- in order to send marketing content concerning Villa Nosal services, based on the legitimate interest of the controller, consisting of direct marketing of its own services (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- in order to ensure the safety of people and property on the premises, based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- in order to establish, pursue or defend against claims, based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
In the event of a breach of the house rules, and in particular the destruction of property, the property has the right to transfer personal data to an international database of unwanted guests and to the website https://www.whosyourguest.com.
Scope of data collected
The controller collects the data necessary to make a reservation and provide the accommodation service, including: first and last name, PESEL number, identity document number, phone number, e-mail address, payment card details and other settlement data, vehicle registration number (when using the car park), company details together with the tax ID (NIP) (in the case of a VAT invoice) and the reservation number.
Children's data, such as age or date of birth, is collected only from their parents or legal guardians, in order to determine applicable discounts and for statistical purposes (the GUS statistical obligation and the local tax).
We obtain data during the reservation process via the website, by phone or by e-mail, and when checking the guest in. Data may also come from the Booking.com reservation portal, if the guest has consented to this.
Recipients of the data
Data may be passed to entities providing services to the controller in connection with the service provided, such as accounting and tax offices, IT system and service providers, telecommunications operators, postal operators and couriers, and banks.
Retention period
We process the data for the duration of your stay at Villa Nosal. This period may be extended by the limitation period for claims, if processing is necessary to pursue claims or defend against them. After this period, we process the data only to the extent and for the time required by law.
Rights of the data subject
You have the right to access your data and to request its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. You also have the right to object to direct marketing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) if you consider that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR.
Providing data is required in order to conclude and perform the contract, and failure to provide it makes it impossible to conclude and perform the contract.
CCTV
The premises are subject to video surveillance (CCTV). The data controller is Jota Invest s.c., with its registered office in Zielona Góra, ul. Chynowska 9, 65-138 Zielona Góra, Poland.
CCTV data is processed in order to ensure safety and order on the premises, based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), consisting of ensuring the safety of people present in the building and on the grounds of Villa Nosal and of protecting property, staff and guests.
Recordings may be passed to entities providing reception services and the protection of people and property, to CCTV system providers and to law enforcement authorities (Police, Prosecutor's Office, Court).
We keep CCTV data for 3 weeks from the day of the visit. This period may be extended by the limitation period for claims, if necessary to establish, pursue or defend them. Providing data (entering the area covered by CCTV) is a condition of entry to the property.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files saved in your device's browser. We use them so that the site works correctly, to adapt the service to user preferences, to make it easier to navigate the site, and for statistical and security purposes.
We use both persistent and session cookies. Persistent cookies remain in the browser until they are deleted by the user or until a set period elapses. Session cookies remain until the browser is closed.
The site also uses external tools that may save their own cookies:
- the Hotres online reservation system (the availability and booking widget);
- Google Maps (the embedded location map);
- Google Fonts (the website fonts);
- YouTube (the video presenting the property, loaded only after you click).
Most browsers allow cookies by default. You can change the settings at any time in your browser, including blocking cookies entirely or deleting those already saved. Limiting cookies may affect some functions of the site.
Using the site without changing your browser settings, and accepting the cookie notice, means you consent to cookies being saved in your device's memory.
