If there is one place that most visitors want to see during their stay in Zakopane, it is undoubtedly Kasprowy Wierch. It is one of the most recognizable peaks in the Polish Tatra Mountains, offering views that remain unforgettable for a long time.
For our guests, it is also one of the most easily accessible mountain attractions. Villa Nosal is located just a short walk from Kuźnice, where popular hiking trails begin and where the lower station of the Kasprowy Wierch cable car is located.
Why Visit Kasprowy Wierch?
Kasprowy Wierch rises to an elevation of 1987 m above sea level and has been one of the most visited destinations in the Tatra Mountains for many years. You can reach the summit on foot or comfortably by cable car, making it accessible both to experienced hikers and to those who are just beginning their mountain adventure.

How to Reach Kasprowy Wierch?
The most popular starting point is Kuźnice. This is where the shortest and most convenient routes to the summit begin.
• Green Trail from Kuźnice via Myślenickie Turnie – the shortest route to Kasprowy Wierch, approx. 3–3.5 hours (one way)
• Route via Hala Gąsienicowa (blue trail through Boczań or yellow trail through Jaworzynka Valley), then the green trail to Kasprowy Wierch – a longer scenic route, approx. 4–4.5 hours (one way)
• Cable car from Kuźnice – the fastest way to reach the summit, approx. 15–20 minutes
Please note that all hiking trails pass through the Tatra National Park. Before setting out, you must purchase an entrance ticket to the park – tickets can be purchased online Kasprowy Wierch - PKL or at ticket offices located near the trail entrances.
The cable car ride itself is a major attraction. In just a few minutes, you ascend nearly 1,000 meters, enjoying increasingly spectacular views of the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane along the way.
How to Get to Kuźnice Quickly?
This is one of the biggest advantages of staying with us!
Kuźnice can be reached from our property in about 20 minutes on foot. During the high season, this is often faster and more convenient than searching for a parking space. As access to Kuźnice by private car is not permitted, walking or using public transport is the best option.
Nearby bus stops include “Bystre”, “Karłowicza”, and “Imperial”, with regular services to Kuźnice. You can also catch private minibuses from the area around John Paul II Roundabout, the main transport hub located about a 7-minute walk from our villa.
Public transport provides quick access to the lower station of the Kasprowy Wierch cable car.

Kasprowy Wierch in Winter
In winter, Kasprowy Wierch becomes one of the most important ski destinations in Poland. The legendary ski runs in Gąsienicowa Valley and Goryczkowa Valley are open, and are especially appreciated by experienced skiers for their natural alpine character.
It is also a popular destination for ski touring enthusiasts. Before heading out, it is advisable to check the current weather conditions and the Tatra National Park avalanche bulletin, as winter conditions in the higher parts of the Tatras can change very quickly.
Ski passes and cable car tickets are best purchased online in advance. This helps avoid queues and guarantees a place for your selected departure time. It is worth knowing that Kasprowy Wierch is part of the Tatry Super Ski network. Holders of these passes can use not only Kasprowy Wierch but also many other ski resorts in the region.
